TIPS FOR YOUR AIRMEET EXPERIENCE

 Airmeet Guide for Attendees: https://www.airmeet.com/hub/product-blog/step-by-step-guide-use-airmeet-for-attendees/

  • Sign in early: Sign-in is possible only on the day of the event. Log in using the link provided and early to get comfortable, set up, and get assistance if needed.
  • Online Experience: Airmeet works best in Chrome but will work on all browsers and no downloads are required. Use the latest Chrome browser for the best experience.
  • Use Your Desktop: Limited features available for mobile devices. While Airmeet will work on a mobile device, many features will NOT be accessible. Use a desktop or laptop with a stable internet connection.
  • Workshops: All sessions will be recorded. Prior to the start of each, you will be prompted to enter the lounge where you can connect with other attendees before we go live. During the Live Stream, participants are taken to the main stage screen to watch the presentation.
  • Join a Table in the Lounge: Interact with participants in the lounge by taking a seat at a virtual networking table. You can move between tables and join other discussions.  The social lounge area will be active and accessible before and after sessions.
  • Use the Chat! Got a question for our presenters? Want to message your colleagues privately? Both can be done using the Live (public) and Direct (private) chat buttons.
  • Raise Your Hand! Participants can interact, ask questions, and share ideas with speakers via the “Raise Hand” feature. The host controls this interaction. The host receives participants’ requests and hands the mic to participants to join the speaker on the stage. Other participants get to see the video of the participant on stage with the speaker. Participants can leave the stage after the interaction.
  • Q&A: A dedicated window to ask questions to speakers. Fellow participants can also upvote the questions if they have the same query in mind!
  • Reactions: It is the age of emojis, so do express your likes, claps, laughs & love for the event. You can find the reactions bar once the session is live.
  • All sessions will be recorded and all slides and materials will be available to attendees after the program concludes.

If you find yourself frequently getting disconnected, try the following:

  •  Make sure you are not using the same link on multiple devices simultaneously. Close multiple sessions and try refreshing your browser.
  • Make sure you have the pop-up ad blocks deactivated while you’re in the Airmeet sessions. You can deactivate it by clicking on the little lock icon that lists just to the left of your URL address. Change the settings to allow.
  • If as a participant you find you are unable to see or hear anything, refresh your browser. If the error persists, you can try to relaunch the browser and try in incognito mode.
  • Airmeet does not work well with a VPN
