Join us on Tuesday, October 13, 2020 from 12:00-1:00 for our next New York State Adult Immunization Coalition Lunch and Learn Webinar titled The Path to a SARS-CoV-2 Vaccine with Dr. Paul Offit.  Around the globe, researchers and scientists are racing to find a vaccine for the COVID-19 virus. Developing a safe, effective, and affordable vaccine is already a challenging feat and developing one during a pandemic is even more challenging. Adding vaccine hesitancy presents another unique challenge to scientists, government researchers, and community leaders.  This presentation will discuss how vaccines are developed, the process for getting vaccines approved for use, and factors that contribute to vaccine hesitancy.
