Who: New York State Association of County Health Officials (NYSACHO) and New York State Public Health Association (NYSPHA)
Why: Make a sustainable impact in public health that will protect the health and safety of New York communities by educating lawmakers and promoting statewide public health policies in Albany.
Through this experience you will:
- obtain state level health policy advocacy experience;
- establish valuable relationships with legislators;
- collaborate with key players working in the public health sector;
- increase visibility for key public health policies in New York State.
