Learning Outcome:

As a result of participation in this activity, the learners will increase and enhance knowledge and competence on adult immunization recommendations and strategies to increase immunization rates.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify the Standards for Adult Immunization Practices
  • Identify 2 Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recommendations for influenza vaccination
  • Identify 2 Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices recommendations for PCV20 or PCV15
  • Apply motivational interviewing techniques in vaccine conversations.
  • Recognize the vaccines that can be administered by pharmacists in NYS.
  • List the elements required for NYS pharmacists to administer vaccinations
  • Recognize the importance of COVID vaccine as related by a personal story from COVID-19 survivor.
