NYSACHO is excited to announce our new “Resilience Training Series: Leading Through the Challenge of Change” to be presented by Yolo Coaching. This workshop is designed for those who have been in health and human services during this challenging period, specifically local public health commissioners, directors, and deputy directors, to take time away from the fray to reflect and replenish resources for understanding and dealing with change.
Learning Objectives:
1. To understand the importance of taking care of oneself in the face of change
2. To recognize the:
a) 3 styles of adapting to change;
b) Various/typical individual reactions to change
c) 3 stages of transition to change
3. To have expanded practical strategies to cope with and support others to navigate change in an empowering way – so that it is less disruptive
Please contact Molly Fleming at mfleming@nysacho.org for information on how to register for the first session on March 3rd, 2022 from 2:00 to 3:00 pm. While attendance is limited to 30 people per session, this is hopefully the first of many resilience trainings to come. To gauge interest in future trainings, please sign up for our waitlist if registration is full. Those on the waitlist will be notified if a spot for the March 3rd session opens and will be notified first when registration for the next resilience training opens.
Please limit registration to 1 person per county at this time to accommodate our capacity limit. Feel free to delegate participation to someone else in a leadership position in your county health department if you cannot attend.
