The NYS HEAP Cooling Assistance program and implications for reducing the health risks of extreme heat

This is a joint webinar by the NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA), NYSACHO and the NYS DOH. During the webinar, OTDA staff will describe the HEAP Cooling Assistance program and updates for summer 2022. DOH staff will discuss the public health importance of the HEAP Cooling Assistance program and summarize recent work to promote the cooling assistance among vulnerable populations.
