                • 2:30 - 3:15 pm: Ramirez June Initiative & Connecting with Office for New Americans Services w/ Cynthia Steward, MS, Ramirez June Developmental Disabilities Navigator for the NYS Office for New Americans
                  • Objectives:
                  • Learn about free services for new Americans in NYS from the NYS Office for New Americans
                    • Understand the goals of the ONA Ramirez June Initiative to expand access to developmental disability services for new Americans.

                                  • 12:30 - 1:15 pm: RISE Up: Interprofessional Programming that Strengthens and Diversify the Early Childhood Workforce w/ Susan Strum, PhD, Associate Professor and Program Director of Graduate Inclusive Early Childhood & Childhood Education Programs; & Lisa Hiley, PhD, CCC-SLP, Associate Professor, Coordinator of the Developing Child & Families Minor in Communication Sciences & Disorders; Rochester Scholars for Early Intervention, Nazareth College
                                    • Objectives:
                                    • Participants will describe a holistic interprofessional model designed to develop graduate students’ specialty knowledge and skills in early intervention in order to be a strong advocate for young children and their families
                                    • Participants will use data and current literature to articulate the need to strengthen and diversify the early childhood workforce
                                    • Participants will detail key strategies to establish, maintain, and enhance interprofessional and community-partnerships necessary to collectively address workforce shortages.
